I printed the sketch and stuck it inside my wardrobe door, mostly as a joke. Four months later a friend introduced me to someone at a pottery class and I actually stopped mid-sentence. Same heavy brows, same slightly crooked smile. My hands were shaking when I got home and compared them.

Honestly I ordered for the drawing and ended up rereading the written story more. It described meeting through work in a place with water nearby, and a person who is quiet at first and then very funny. That is almost embarrassingly accurate to how things went in the spring.

It landed in my inbox the next morning, high resolution, no watermark nonsense. I would have liked a colour version, which is why I am giving four stars, but the detail in the pencil work is genuinely lovely. It does not look mass produced.

My sister paid for mine as a birthday joke and I fully intended to laugh at it. Then I read the section about a person who moves cities before we meet, and that happened in March. I still do not know what to make of it, but I have not deleted the file.

This sounds dramatic but the drawing gave me a shape to hold out for. I stopped going back to someone who kept half-choosing me. Whether the sketch is literal or not, it did something useful for my head.

I emailed support about a detail I did not understand in the reading and had a real reply within a day, no scripts, no pressure. That mattered more to me than the sketch itself, and the sketch is very good.

Treat it as a reflective piece rather than a police sketch and you will love it. The portrait is delicate and the story reads like it was written by a person, not spat out by software.

It sits on my hallway shelf and every single guest asks about it. Two of them ordered their own after hearing the story. That is probably the strongest review I can give.
